Sciente offers 100 grants to physicians, postgraduate students and medical students. Funds are credited to a Sciente wallet for work on an article: literature search and selection, source appraisal, statistics and writing.

Who can apply and what the grant provides
Students, postgraduates, Candidates of Medical Sciences and Doctors of Medical Sciences
The prospective article's author applies under one of the programme's 14 specialties.
By disease burden
Cardiology: 25 grants; oncology: 15; another 12 specialties: 5 each. Remaining allocations are shown in the table below.
One active application per person
After rejection, another application can be submitted after 30 days. The date is shown in the account area.
10,000 RUB credited to your wallet immediately upon approval
Grant funds are spent on work in Sciente like other wallet funds, and are charged first.
30 days to work
Any unspent balance expires at the end of the period. A reminder is sent 3 days beforehand.
Work on the article in a Sciente project
The recipient works on the article in their project, reports its publication details after publication and, if the journal allows it, permits it to be displayed in Publications. Full terms: grant terms.

Or register at sciente.ru. Applications can only be submitted from the account area.
Complete the application
Settings → Grant: full name, academic degree, email, specialty, prospective article topic (optional) and consents.
Wait for the decision
You will receive the decision by notification and email. Upon approval, funds are credited immediately; the grant period starts that day.
FAQ
Can I receive or withdraw the grant as cash?
No. The grant is a bonus in your Sciente wallet, for work in the platform. It cannot be withdrawn.
What happens to the remaining balance after a month?
The unspent grant balance expires at the end of the period. Your own wallet funds do not expire: grant funds are charged first.
My specialty is not listed
The programme covers 14 medical specialties. Choose the closest one to your article topic. If none fits, email info@sciente.ru.
My specialty's quota is exhausted
Apply to join that specialty's waiting list. If its quota increases, your application will be considered and you will receive the decision by notification and email.
My application was rejected. Can I apply again?
Yes, 30 days after the decision. The date from which another application can be submitted is shown in the Grant tab of your account.
What should I do after the article is published?
In the Grant tab, provide the journal, DOI or link, and publication date. If the journal allows it, the work will appear in Sciente's Publications section after moderation.
How is my data processed?
The full name and email address in your application are stored in encrypted form and used only to decide on the grant and contact you. Details are provided in the personal data processing consent and privacy policy.
