From question to manuscript

One project, clear outputs

Teaching example: describing the relationship between shift work and sleep in adults. This is a workflow for an observational article, not the result of a completed study. Numerical results and conclusions require analysis of your own data.

  1. 01 · QUESTION

    Define what you will measure

Record the population, working conditions, sleep measurements, time period and potential confounders in the project research profile.

Output: a research question and analysis plan.

  2. 02 · SOURCES

    Find and select literature

Start with the query shift work sleep adults, check study designs and methods, and save relevant sources.

Output: a verifiable bibliography and rationale for the question.

  3. 03 · METHODS

    Describe your study design

State recruitment, eligibility criteria, measurements and limitations. For an observational study, use STROBE to check the completeness of reporting.

Output: a Methods section with gaps identified.

  4. 04 · DATA

Check the data and perform the analysis

Upload a de-identified table and check coding and missing values. Choose an analysis that fits the design, variable types and assumptions.

Output: tables, figures and results calculated from your own data.

  5. 05 · MANUSCRIPT

Assemble the text and review it

Link conclusions to analyses and sources, state limitations, check the journal requirements and export the document for co-authors.

Output: an editable manuscript and a list of next revisions.

Tools for your study design

The article type determines the materials, analysis and reporting requirements. A guideline helps describe the work completely; it does not, by itself, make the research high quality.

Original research

Input: a protocol, de-identified data and measurement procedures.

Work: analysis planning, tables and figures, Methods and Results.

Check: STROBE for observational studies; CONSORT for randomized trials.

Literature review

Input: a question, scope and selected sources.

Work: comparison of findings, a thematic outline, citations and limitations.

Check: describe search and selection methods explicitly; a review does not become systematic just because of its title.

Systematic review

Input: a protocol, search strategy and eligibility criteria.

Work: screening, data extraction, risk-of-bias assessment and synthesis.

Check: PRISMA 2020 for reporting; meta-analysis requires a justified basis for combining studies.

Case report

Input: a de-identified timeline, observations and necessary consent.

Work: case structure, discussion in context and conclusions.

Check: CARE and journal requirements; a single case does not establish treatment effectiveness.

Primary sources: STROBE · CONSORT · PRISMA · CARE.

The researcher's case history

SymptomsHundreds of English abstracts to read at night, after a shift.
HistoryThe review is taking months. Six programs are open at once.
FindingsStatistics outsourced to a colleague; references formatted by hand.
ComplicationsA thesis deadline. The department expects publications. The university expects grant proposals.
DiagnosisRoutine work consuming research time.

Research workflow

Five steps in one workspace

The diagrams below illustrate platform functions, not study results. Check conclusions against your own materials.

01 · FIND

Find literature and save your sources

Search PubMed, Crossref and other available databases to collect relevant literature. Select articles, save them to your project and translate available titles and abstracts when needed. Full-text access depends on the publisher.

SGLT2 inhibitors · kidney protection translated · RU
02 · UNDERSTAND

Compare supporting and conflicting evidence

The platform helps extract designs, sample characteristics and outcomes, compare findings and identify disagreements. Verify extracted details against the original, especially when only an abstract is available.

EVIDENCE · TEACHING DIAGRAM Supporting Conflicting
03 · REVIEW

Methodological review before submission

Choose an instrument for the design: for example, RoB 2 for a randomized trial or AMSTAR-2 for a systematic review. The platform suggests an assessment with explanations based on the available text; the author checks it against the original. Reporting checks and risk-of-bias assessment serve different purposes.

RoB 2 · RISK OF BIAS Randomization Deviations from interventions Missing outcome data Outcome measurement Selection of the reported result Teaching diagram · overall judgment uses all domains
04 · ANALYZE

Statistics with an explanation of the method

Import data, specify groups and outcomes, and check missing values and assumptions. The platform helps choose and run analyses, build tables and figures. The author confirms the design and interpretation; discuss complex analyses with a statistician.

METHOD SELECTION data Student's t Mann–Whitney ANOVA Method, effect estimate and interval:from your data, with assumptions checked.
05 · FORMAT AND SUBMIT

Formatted citations and references

A collaborative editor with formatted citations and a reference list. Choose the supported style that fits the journal, then export to Word or PDF and check the final document.

Who it is for

For people whose work includes research

Postgraduate researchers

Keep sources, an outline and manuscript versions in one project. Discuss methods and revisions with your supervisor and record decisions as the work progresses.

Practising clinicians

Return to research between clinical tasks. Sources, data, analyses and writing stay in one workspace.

Institutions and publishers

For universities, research institutes and publishers: collaboration, participant roles and separate budgets. Access and data-processing conditions are described in the platform documentation.

Your materials and shared access

The project stores documents, sources, versions and work history so you can continue later. Access depends on roles and invitations. De-identify clinical materials before upload; data-processing and AI-use rules are described in the privacy policy.

Questions

Answers for authors

Can I prepare an article for a journal on Russia's VAK list?+
Yes. Work on your manuscript and check the selected journal's author guidelines and current status. The platform supports preparation; the journal makes the publication decision.
Do I need my own data?+
Original research requires real data and a description of the methods. A review requires sources and transparent procedures. The teaching example on this page is not a completed study.
Can I trust the methodological assessment?+
Item-by-item explanations help check the conclusion. Verify the assessment against the full text and instrument manual: incomplete information and extraction errors can affect the result. The author remains responsible for the final judgment.
Does the platform replace a statistician?+
It helps prepare data, run analyses and explain results. The right method depends on the design, relationships between observations, outcomes and assumptions. Specialist advice is useful for complex models and important decisions.
How should I disclose AI assistance?+
Check the selected journal's policy and explain where you used AI assistance. Authors verify the text, references and results; AI is not listed as a co-author. ICMJE recommendations.
What happens to my data?+
The platform stores project materials and work history. Access is determined by participant roles. De-identify clinical data before uploading. Read more in the privacy policy.
How much does one article cost?+
There is no single price per article: it depends on selected operations, material volume and free allowances. Request an estimate before paid work; automatic charging depends on your settings. How payment works →
Can I return after reviewer comments?+
Continue in the same project: revise the text, check analyses, update sources and save a new document version for co-authors.
Operation-based pricing

Pay for the work you choose

Registration is free. Public search, calculators and guidelines are available on the website. Paid operations use your account balance or an available institutional budget.

Estimate first

For batch review, translation or generation, request an estimate for the selected materials. The estimate shows roubles, the work breakdown and available balance.

Then run the operation

Confirm the work or use the automatic charging mode you selected. Check completed operations and charges in your spending history.

No fixed price per article

Manual editing and paid assistance are different actions. Free allowances and prices follow the current price list; the total depends on your workflow.

Example workflow: assess selected sources → prepare a review draft → review the manuscript. Each step needs an estimate based on its actual scope. This description was checked against the cost-estimation mechanism on 14 October 2026; no fixed amount is quoted without your materials.
